about

Each instrument and vocals were recorded in a different room of the house I was currently living in.

I wrote this song after a summer evening with friends around a campfire.
There were a lot of lovely ladies there with sundresses on. We were talking about Neutral Milk Hotel and it got me thinking about Jeff's writing and how he put everything in poetic form or even sometimes the simplest of forms. Describing every detail to even a tiny drop of sweat. I wanted to write a song like that. Reminding me of a long lost love I found within a summer night.

How nights like that... Love can fuel everything.
